It is  learnt that Multi-section Digital Axle Counters (MSDAC)s have the following Pros in Auto Territory :
1. No need for FTC sleepers, GFN Liners etc
2. Absence of Glued Joints
3. Auto rest facility based on count of subsequent sectins
4. No Trk Ckt Mtce as there are less Eqpts and Locations
5. More Reliable than AFTC
6. Lower Life Cycle Costs

Cons :
1. Trolley Failures
2. Possibility of Multiple Section Failures due to common Eqpt

  1. The IRSSE-92 batch received a rude shock when their JAG and SG confirmations were declared. We were confirmed in JAG since 16 Jan-06, after working in Gr.-A service for MORE THAN 12 YEARS….., and that too, when all of us were working in adhoc JAG since long. And as this was not enough, we received the SG confirmation since Feb-06, making us behind our batchmates in all the services by one increment…..
    We have given representations at RB about six months ago, but no action has been taken so far, and as the indication goes, no action will be taken, leaving us, poor IRSSEans – having no GODFATHER at the heigher echleons, berefted and deluded…

    …………….I SOMETIMES WONDER, WHY I HAD NOT FILLED IRSS AS MY FIRST CHOICE, while filing form of the IES…

      likhkar apni jimmedariyan nibha lete hain.
      Per hum bechare 1992 ke bachchon ke baare me to soch jo itne intzar & SINCERE services ke baad bhi apne batchmates se ek saal/ek increment peechhe chhot gaye, kewal isliye ki unke seniors ne Railway Board me unke liye koi aawaz nahin uthai.

      Aakhir in bachhon ko BECHARA bana kaun raha hai???

      ya phir aur kuchh………

  3. THE SHOCK BECOMES MORE RUDE WHEN YOU COME TO KNOW THAT THE ENGINEERS WERE PROMOTED SIMILARLY BUT THEY WERE GIVEN JA CONFIRMATION FROM BACK DATES. WE REPRESENTED AT RB, BUT WERE NOT HEARD.
    IT IS A PITY THAT OUR CASE WAS NOT SYMPATHISED/PATRONISED BY OUR REP AT THE RAILWAY BOARD THEN… THERE GOES CADRE LOYALTY………..
    WE WERE NOT EVEN SYMPATHISED BY ANY OTHER IN THE CADRE… THERE GOES CADRE UNITY

    let me not continue further, I am not in good mood remembering al those things & days.

  4. Mourning and Spoiling ones own mood will not bring any change. Colleagues have been suggesting giving a representation regarding cadre balancing anamolies particularly at SAG ( JA and HG are Now better) to ML and CRB and in case of no action seek legal remedy thro’ CAT.

    Fighting injustice makes one feel better.

  5. Why dont we use the IRSSE forum meet at Delhi next to raise our voice. Otherwise hardly we do come togather. The IRSSE conference has a big gathering from all over the country. I may propose a vote on this, if needed.

  6. And we shall raise our voice for our quota in General cadre-balancing posts, ie, SDGM, DGM, Secretery etc and why dont we have a ED/Vig-S&T, thw post we had been hearing that it had been sanctioned 02 years ago.

  7. moreover, the 92 batch had given a joint letter to Secy/RB regarding injustice parted to them, duly forwarded by S&T directorate. But, no action and no follow-up. How and where do we get help on this?
